Dr. Ant Webb

I’m married to Lizzie and we worked at Mpongwe Mission between 1988 and 1995. I had been there as a medical student on my elective in 1984 and after getting married we felt God’s call to go back to Mpongwe to serve in the hospital. Our eldest daughter was just ten months and many people thought we were crazy but God proved to us time and time again whilst we out there that the safest place to be was in the centre of his will. Mpongwe has a special place in our hearts as three of our four daughters were born out there. Since we started Mpongwe’s People in 2007 it really is wonderful to see how many people are getting involved in supporting the work out there. We have had great times raising funds on our charity bike rides from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 2011 and from Somerset to Lisbon in 2013.
